I think this is the number one thing that a lot of millennials–anybody– needs to hear. I wish someone would whisper it into my ear every morning.
It is okay, not to be where you thought you would be.
If you live in a fast paced, highly competitive area like I do, you probably have expectations of what you would be doing by now or how far you would be in your career and personal life. You have most likely dreamt up and fantasized about the perfect version of your life and expected that you would be living it by now. Only to be slapped in the face with the reality that it’s not going to be handed to you, just because you want it.
